Helen Keller says that she wont have the occasion to mention Nancy again because during Helen and Miss Sullivan's trip to Perkins Institute, Boston, the laundress took her doll to give it a bath because it was covered in dirt. It did not prove to be helpful as the doll was turned into a heapless ball of cotton.
