Reasons why we loose interest in studies :

◆ We are too busy in appreciating other's work that we forget to even look at ours.

◆We satisfy ourselves with some excuses of not being able to do something just because we are not born talented.

◆We are so worried about petty things that doesn't even matter to others.

◆Even if we want to do something, the motivation does not last longer. It soon ends as we taste the so called Real Life.

◆And the most important, we are not always surrounded by ambitious people who can motivate us.

Steps through which you can regain your interest in studies :

●List down the reasons as why you want to do well in studies, like ; You want to prove yourself to some friends or for that matter to your own family, or you want to join the prestigious college of your choice. It could be anything, just think of it and write it down.

●Change the daily routine. It may be very soothing or you may think it doesn't require any alterations but change it as soon as possible. It will break your monotony.

●Start exercising. This may be the most heard advice but trust me , IT WORKS. Your mind will actually start working faster and efficiently.

●Break down your contact with people who do not appreciate good changes in your life. That can be your any family member too, so try not to argue with them on any issue , that will disturb you.

●Make competent and good friends. That will motivate you every time you see them achieving.

●Make a timetable

Try to find a quiet, distraction-free place to work.

●Make yourself take care of schoolwork before spending time on the computer, watching TV, playing games, etc.

●This might seem hard at first, but if you get in the habit of taking care of what you need to first, you’ll ultimately have more time to spend on other things you enjoy.

●For instance, if you have a biology exam coming up that covers 5 chapters of your textbook, don’t try to study them at once. Instead, study a chapter or half of a chapter each day leading up to the exam.

●You can form a study group where everyone signs a pledge to work hard, stay on task, and help each other out. When you don’t feel like you’re alone, you’re more likely to stay interested and motivated.
