IAS question ???? Test ur brilliance... A man was murdered in a village and the police inspector asked two constables to reach the spot and take the FIR.. As it was night and the spot was too far from the station, the constables didn't go there n made a fake FIR..after reading the report, the inspector said " you both are suspended for making a fake report with out reaching the spot... Question is...How did the inspector find out that the report was fake and they didn't reach there? The FIR is as follows.... "When we reached the spot, the door was open and a man aged about 40 -45 was found dead in a chair, a bulb was glowing in the room, fan was also switched on, there was a table in front of the dead body, and the table contained : an opened bottle of poison, half filled drinking water bottle, a pen , a news paper was opened as pages 9-10, One table top calendar opened as date of June 20, a 5 rupee coin, one notebook, one bed was also there in the room. Seems like the person committed suicide." Can anybody give the right answer ???

Hey friend !
Here's my guess :
When the police asked the two constable's to take an FIR at the place of murder . They didn't went their but reported an fake FIR. The police might caught them by the reason they said .... , a news paper was opened as pages 9-10.
Explanation :
Here we can see that the constables fake FIR had an mistake of newspaper . As we know that newspaper contains the numbers of pages on both sides. Same as , 9-10 pages contains on both opposite sides of newspaper which means that it cannot be opened at the same time.
By this , Inspector might guessed that their FIR is fake one .

The police officer knew that the report was fake as the newspaper can never be opened on pages 9 and 10
