If a quarter kg of potato costs 60 paise, how many paise does 200 gm cost?

1 kg = 1000 gms
half kg= 500 gms
so, quarter kg= 250 gms

cost of 250 gm potatoes= 60 paise
cost of 1 gram=60/250
so, the cost of 200 gm= 60/250×200
                                  =48 paise 
THE COST OF 200 GM OF POTATOES IS 48 PAISE

so  250 grams costs 60 paise

1 gram costs  60 paise / 250 gram =  6/25  paise
 200 grams cost  6/25 * 200 paise = 48 paise.
