Age Limit

The minimum age for a candidate to give IBPS PO Exam is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years i.e. a candidate must be born on or after 02nd August 1989 but not later than 01st August 1999. IBPS PO Age limit is considered an important criterion for the selection of eligible candidates.

5 Persons ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1st Jan 1980 to 31st Dec 1989 5 Years

6 Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 Years

Nationality

A candidate must be either –

A Citizen of India or

A Subject of Nepal or

A Subject of Bhutan or

A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
