Theory of function:

• The other name of the theory of functionalism is structural functional theory. This theory perceives culture as a structure with interconnected parts considered to meet the genetic and social needs of the people in that society.  

• Several key concepts support Functionalism. The main concepts within Functionalism have shared conscience, value consensus, social order, education, family, crime and nonconformity and the media.
