ICSE 10TH GRADE
Guys I have some genuine doubts
1. Is it okay to use different methods while solving a problem?
2. Should we always write the formula, sample space and total no. of outcomes while doing the sums in probability?
3. Can we attempt extra questions?
4. Sometimes it gets difficult to find factors for a quadratic equation.....so how we go about it ?
5. Is it okay to attempt the ogive question?
6. Do we have proving sums in circles and tangents and intersecting chords??( our teacher told it's not there) just wanted to confirm
That's all

Though I'm not ICSE i had the similr doubts and here's what i've found
1) yes, you can use different methods to solve a problem unless specified (we got a problem to solve the given equation in completing square method)
2) yes, we need to write outcomes, sample space etc., (in cbse) cuz they carry marks. (Like how given and RTP CARRIES mark in prooving statement)
3) yes, if you have surplus time but i suggest you write 'choice' in brackets so the examiner wont get frustrated.
4) leave it and complete it in the last peacefully. It worked everytime for me. Dont get tensed and think slowly
5) Not sure, in cbse we definitley will have a ogive question. You better consult your teacher aboit it.
6) no idea
