The limitations to the Right to Freedom provided under the Fundamental Rights section of our constitution are:
- The Fundamental Rights include 6 rights given by the Indian Constitution to all Indian citizens.
- They include the Right to Equality, the Right to Freedom, the Right against Exploitation, the Right to Freedom of Religion, Educational Rights, and the Right to Constitutional remedies.
- These rights are absolute except in some situations.
- The Right to Freedom and Speech Expression can be suspended if a state or national emergency is declared as per Article 352 of the constitution.
- A person held in a conviction for an offense cannot be punished more than once for the same offense.
