Identify the numerical coefficient of y in the sum of (5x 2 + 7x – 4y) and (3y - 2x + x²)

(5x+2+7x-4y)+(3y-2x+x²)

(5x+7x-2x)+(3y-4y) +2+x²

10x-y+2+x²

Hence the coefficient of y is -1

(5x2+7x-4y)+(3y-2x+x^2 ) =10+7x-4y+3y-2x+x^2)

=10+5x-y+x^2

So, here coefficient of y is - 1
