identify the oxidizing agent in this reaction CUO + H2 is equals to CU + H2O​

Answer: CuO is the Oxidizing agent because it's oxidation no is decreasing from +2 to 0,so it undergoes reduction and the species which undergoes reduction is an oxidising agent
