A strong central government with power to frame laws on important functions ( central and concurrent lists of over 160+ ) like defence , finance , external affairs , trade and commerce , communication etc .Center has overriding authority over concurrent list and also residuary powers ( not mentioned in Constitution ) is vested with center.An indestructible union of destructible states , i.e, parliment has unilateral power to change the area , boundaries of states.Power to amend Constitution under provisions of article 368 , the power states doesn't have .All India services like IAS, IPS , IFoS are recruited and trained by center and work in key departments of state government .Emergency provisions , central government will becomes all powerful and states go into the total control of center.Appointing Governors to

INDIA is a vast country , where without decentralization the government would collapse , it has various governments at different level and central government is at the peak , it controls national issues and also has the power to look into the matter of state governments , it acts as a supervisor and controls all other organs , some other powers are-

Power to amend Constitution under provisions of article 368 , the power states doesn't have .

Appointing Governors to states
