Oxidised=adding of O2,loss of electron

Reduced=removal of o2,gain of electron

Na is oxidised and Cl is reduced

hope it is clear for you..

danger65: nope
aaaa483: then tell
cutipie72: wrong answer
danger65: only addition and removal of oxygen does not mean redox. other things such as loss of electronegative radical ,gain of electropositive radical are also there. moreover, loss and gain of electrons is the real thing behind redox reactions
cutipie72: yes
cutipie72: addition and removal of non metal and metal also varies
danger65: no
danger65: the main thing is loss or gain if electrons
aaaa483: now ok
aaaa483: ??

Na is oxidising agent.... mark brainliest!!

danger65: this is also not correct
Girdharik: i think.. cl is getting oxidised and na is getting reduced just because here the process is taking in reverse form!
