to maintain social relationship first you have to be a social animal (not like a alone )

other ways

have a sharing nature , not too big relation never see size it just see feelings ,share thing like pen , pencil etc

other way is to be a good friend , just help in the time when your classmate need you,just give him a emotional support ..
