cosx + sinx =5/4
square on both side
1+ 2cosxsinx=25/16
2cosxsinx=9/16
(cosx-sinx)^2+4cosxsinx=25/16
cosx-sinx=root25/16-18/16
cosx-sinx=root7/4

karn89: plz mark me as brainlist
guptaushma2014: Sure.. but can you please explain the steps after 2cosxsinx=9/16
karn89: ill just evaluate (cosx+sinx)^2 to( cosx-sinx) ^2+4sinxcosx
guptaushma2014: Ohkk
