hey mate

given here

1+(1/X) = 2Cos (π/4)

find here

x¹²=?

so

=>1+(1/X) = 2Cos (π/4)

we know that

cos π/4= 1/2

then,

=>1+(1/x)= 2× 1/2

=>1/x = 2 -1

=>x= 1/(2-1)

=>x= (2+1)/(2+1)(2-1)

=>x=(2+1)/(2-1)

=>x=(2+1)

put value 2=1.414

so,

=> x = 1.414 + 1

= 2.414

I hopes its help's u.
