if 1/3rd part of a number is greater than of its 1/4th part by 10, then. what will be the sum of digits of a number​

Let the number be 'x'

So according to the question..

x/3=(x+1)/4 +1 (because 1/3 of number is greater than 1/4 of successor by 1)

x/3 = (x+5)/4

4x= 3x+15

x=15

So the number is 15 and its successor is 16.
