let the numerator=x
let the denominator=y
x+1/y-1=1/1
x+1=y-1
x-y=-2

x/y+1=1/2
2x=y+1
2x-y=1

simultaneous equation
2x-2y=-4
2x-y=1
----------
-y=-5
y=5

2x-5=1
2x=6
x=3

fraction=3/5

Hiii Leovin,

Let the numbers be X and y.
Then,
fraction= x/y
A/Q,
x+1/y-1= 1
X+1= Y-1
X-Y= -1-1
X-Y= -2
X= -2+Y.....(1)
again,
X/Y+1= 1/2
2X= Y+1
2X-Y= 1...(2)
putting the value of X in (2)
2X-Y= 1
2(-2+Y) -Y= 1
-4+2Y-Y= 1
Y= 1+4= 5...
putting the value of Y in (1)
X= -2+Y
X= -2+5
X= 3
Therefore,
Fraction= X/Y
= 3/5..
