the 2 zeroes are -1 and 2

such that x+1 and x-2 are factors of it

so,x+1×x-2

x2-2x+x-2= x2-x-2

divide this with the p(x)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

x+1,X-2

LET THE THIRD ROOT BE Y

ARE ROOTS OF POLYNOMIAL

(X+1)*(X-2)*Y=2X^3-2X^2-5X-2

Y=2X^3-X^2-5X-2/×^2-x-2

Y =2X+1

THEREFORE THE THIRD ROOT IS -1/2

Antra12345: There is 2x^3 - x^2 not 2x^3 - 2x^2.
adityaas2102: it was a typing error but hte answer is correct
