Given, zero of the equation ( x) = - 1

and

Equation , 2x^2 + kx

so

 {2x}^{2}  + kx = 0 \\  \\  =  > 2( - 1) ^{2}  + k( - 1) = 0 \\  \\  =  > 2 \times 1 + ( - k) = 0 \\  \\  =  > 2 - k = 0 \\  \\  =  >  - k =  - 2 \\  \\  =  > k = 2 \\  \\ ( - \: and \:   -  \: cancelled)
