Answer:

Hi mate...!!!

Here is your answer.....

SOLUTION :

Given :

3x² - 4x + p

Let one zero be x

& second zero = 1/x

[ Given : one zero is reciprocal to the other]

Here, a = 3, b= - 4 c = p

product of zero = constant term/ coefficient of x² = c/a

product of zero = c/a = p/3

x × 1/x = p/3

x/x = p/3

p/3 = 1

p = 1× 3

p = 3

Hence, the value of p is 3.

here is your answer mate.

if 1 is the zero of the equation

 {3x}^{2}  - 4x + p = 0

then it will make the equation z equal to zero.

and to find the value of p we just have to put the values of x.

 {3 \times 1}^{2}  - 4 \times 1 + p = 0

3 - 4 + p = 0

-1+ p = 0

p = 1
