Electrolytic Reduction.

The metals that are above in the Reactivity Series of Metals, like Potassium (K), Sodium(Na), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg) and Aluminium (Al) are very reactive. These metals have more affinity for Oxygen than carbon. Hence, the highly reactive metals are extracted by the process of Electrolytic Reduction.
