If - 1 is a zero of the polynomial f(x) = x^2
- 7x -8. Then find the other zero of f(x ).​

 {x}^{2}  - 7x - 8 = 0 \\

As we know the relationship between coefficient and zeroes of the polynomial

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - b}{a}  \\  - 1 +  \beta  =  -  \frac{ - 7}{1}  \\  \beta  = 7  + 1 \\  \beta  = 8
