Hey Mate You're Answer

If 1 is a zero of polynomial p(x), then p(1) = 0.

∴ p(1) = a(1)2 − 3(a − 1) (1) − 1 = 0

⇒ a − 3a + 3 − 1 = 0

⇒ −2a = −2

⇒ a = 1

Thus, the value of a is 1.

Hey mate here is ur answer,........

p ( 1) = a (1) 2 - 3 ( 1 -1) 1 -1

a - 3a + 3 - 1

-2a = -2

a = 1

Hope it helps♥
