Answer:

 \LARGE{ \underline{\underline{ \pink{ \bf{Required \: answer:}}}}}

p(x) = 14x³– 5x²+ ax – b

p(1)= 14 -5 + a x 1-b

p(1) = 11+a-b= 0 .....1

a+b= 1. .......2

a= 1-b

put the value of a in equation 1

11 + (1-b) -b=0

12-2b= 0

-2b = -12

b= 12/2

b= 6

a= -5
