if 1 zero of polynomial x square -4x+k is 2 then find the value of k

Heya !!!





P(X) = X² -4X + K




P(2) = (2)² -4 × 2 + K






=> 4 - 8 + K = 0




=> K = 4

so , putting this value of given this Polynomial .

 {x}^{2} - 4x + k \\ \\p(x) = > {2}^{2} - 4(2) + k \\ = > 4 - 8 + k \\ = > k = 8 - 4 \\ = > k = 4
