Hope it helps

first divide no. of bushels with no. of horse
this means 1 horse consume 1.8 bushels in 36days
so 24 bushels ÷ 30 horses = 0.8
1.8:36::0.8:x
1.8x=28.8
x=16
so 30 horses consumes 24 bushels in 16 days

10 horses consume 18 bushel in 36 days
then, 1 horse consumes 18 bushels  in (36×10) days

then,1 horse consumes 1 bushel in [(36 × 10) /18] days

then 30 horses consume 1 bushel in [(36 × 10)/(18 × 30)] days

then 30 horses consume 18 bushel in[(36 × 10× 24)/(18 × 30)]day
=16 days
