ANSWER:

16 men can assemble 24 computers in 15 hours.

SOLUTION:

Given, 10 men take 12 hours to assemble 12 computers,

We have to find how many hours will 16 men take to assemble 24 computers?

Now, 10 men can assemble \frac{12 \text { computers }}{12 \text {hours}}=1 \text { computers in } 1 \text { hour }

Then, work done by each man = \frac{1}{10}

So, 16 men can assemble \frac{16}{10} computers in 1 hour.

Let the time taken by 16 men to assemble 24 computers be t.

Now, \frac{16}{10} computers → 1 hour

24 computers → t hours.

\begin{array}{l}{\frac{16}{10} \times t=1 \times 24} \\\\ {t=24 \times \frac{10}{16}} \\\\ {t=24 \times \frac{5}{8}=3 \times 5=15 \text { hours. }}\end{array}

Hence, 16 men can assemble 24 computers in 15 hours.
