if 10 meters is of 600 Rs how much meters in 500 Rs

length cost

10       600

x        500

(since it's in direct proportion)

x = \frac{500*10}{600} = \frac{5000}{600} (the zeros get cancelled) = \frac{50}{6}m of cloth

we can do it another way too.

cost of 10m of cloth is rs.600

so 1m of cloth will be \frac{600}{10} = rs.60

so cost of x meter of cloth is rs.500

so x = \frac{500}{60} = \frac{50}{6}m

Hope it helps

have a great day

Answer:

8.34 meters

10m------> ₹600

X ------>₹500

So use unitary method:

X= (500×10)/600

X=8.34m
