Answer:

GREEN

Explanation:

  • Mg(OH)² is a strong base and H2SO4 is a strong acid
  • thus neutralization reaction takes place and the salt obtained is neutral.
  • value of neutral solution on ph paper is green

The resultant solution will give green colour with  universal indicator.

- Here, the concentration of both H2SO4 and Mg(OH)2 is same.

- The neutralization reaction can be given as:

H2SO4 + Mg(OH)2  ----> MgSO4 + 2H2O

- This means that same amount of Mg(OH)2 is required as H2SO4

- Also, their volume is also same.

- It implies that the amount of H+ ions and OH- ions is same in this

- thus complete neutralization will take place and the resultant solution willm be neutral.

- The neutral solution gives green colour with the universal solution.

- Hence the correct answer is (c)
