Given:-

  • No. of electrons ,e = 10¹⁹

  • time taken ,t = 2 s

To Find:-

  • Current ,I

Solution:-

As we know that current is defined as the charge per unit time.

Firstly we calculate the charge passing through point.

Using this formula

• Q = ne

Where

Q is the Charge

n is the number of electrons

e is the charge of electron

e = -1.6 × 10^-19 C

Substitute the value we get

➨ Q = 10¹⁹ × 1.6 × 10^-19

➨ Q = 1.6 C

Charge passing through point is 1.6 coulomb

Now, Calculating the Current

• I = Q/t

Where,

I is the current

Q is the Charge

t is the time taken

Substitute the value we get

➨ I = 1.6/0.2

➨ I = 16/2

➨ I = 8 A

Therefore, the current passing through the given point is 8 Ampere.

Hence, the required answer is 8 Ampere.

q = ne

=> q = 10^19 × 1.6×10^-19

=> q = 1.6 C

Now

=> I = q/t

=> I = 1.6/0.2

=> I = 16/2

=> I = 8 A
