Given:

No of electrons removed from the neutral  body = 10^{10} electrons

To Find :

The charge acquired by the body = ?

Solution:

We know that the magnitude of charge on one electron = -1.6 \times 10^{-19} C

Since electrons are negatively charged particles so we have used negative sign .

So , the magnitude of total charge on 10^{10 electrons:

= -1.6 \times 10^{-19} \times 10^{10

=-1.6 \times 10^{-9}

Hence , the total amount of charge acquired by the body is -1.6 \times 10^{-9} C .
