Energy available to the secondary consumer will be: (c) 1 J

Energy transferred in ecosystem starting from source of production transfers as per 10% rule. The rule states that energy transferred from one trophic level to next trophic level is only 10% of total energy.

Energy pyramid is as follows -

Primary producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, tertiary consumers. Therefore, 100J of energy pat producer level will reach as 10 J of energy to primary consumers.

Hence, further secondary consumer will receive only 1 J of energy.
