if 1000 kg of water is heated from 0 degree Celsius to 100 degree Celsius. calculate the increase in mass of water.

Water has a specific heat or heat capacity of just over 4 KJ/Kg-degree C between O and 100-deg C. There is a slight drop in density from just under 1,000 Kg per cubic meter at 0-deg C to 960 Kg per cubic meter at 100-deg C. The numbers are shown in tables at the back of many textbooks on heat transfer
