Answer :

Mass by volume % =

\dfrac{Mass \: by \: solute(g)}{Volume \: of \:solution(ml)} \times 100

Given :

Copper sulphate (mass of solute) = 105 g

Volume of water (volume of Solution) = 500 ml

Solution :

by putting the values..

Mass by volume % =

\dfrac{105}{\cancel{500}} \times \cancel{100}

 = \dfrac{105}{5} = 21

\leadsto \therefore \: mass \: by \: volume \: \% = 21 \%

Additional Information:

Mass % = \dfrac{Weight \: of \: solute(g)}{Weight\:of \: Solution(g)}

Volume % = \dfrac{Volume \: of \: solute(ml)}{Volume\:of \: Solution(ml)}
