Hey Mate !

Here is your solution :

=> 13x + 12Y = 7 ----------- ( 1 )

=> 12x + 13Y = 5 ---------- ( 2 )

By subtracting ( 2 ) from ( 1 ),

=> 13x + 12Y = 7

=> 12x + 13Y = 5
---------------------------
=> x - Y = 2

Hence, the required answer is 2.

Hope it helps !!

By cross multiplication , we have to find x & y

So , 13 x + 12 y = 7
and 12 x + 13y = 5

13 x +12y -7 =0
12x +13y -5 =0

x
12 -7
13 -5 ( cross multiple the no)

y
-7 13
-5 12(cross multiple the no)

1
13 12
12 13 ( cross multiple the no)

Now ,
 \frac{x}{ - 60 + 91} = \frac{y}{ - 84 + 65} = \frac{1}{169 - 144} \\ \\ \frac{x}{31} = \frac{1}{ - 19} = \frac{ - 1}{25} \\ \\ \frac{x}{31} = \frac{1}{25} \\ \\ x = \frac{31}{25} \\ \\ \frac{y}{ - 19} = \frac{1}{25} \\ \\ than \\ \: \\ y = \frac{ - 19}{25} \\ \\ than \: find \: the \: value \: of \: x - y \\ \\ \\ \frac{31}{25} - ( \frac{ - 19}{25} ) \\ \\ \frac{31}{25} + \frac{19}{25} = \frac{50}{25} = 2

So, answer is 2

Thanks ♥️
