Now consider the case of the 10 men.Let the number of days be X. Therefore the men will need 8 X hours to work (8× x =8X)

As the number of men is decreasing, the number of days would increase.

The ( no of men× working hours ) is constant.

Therefore using the ratio method, the required number of days are,

8× X × 10 = 96 × 15

X = 1440/80

X = 18 days

So 10 men will complete the same work in 18 days if they work 8 hours per day
