formula of tan A is  p/b  and for this questions its value are 8/15
so now for sin we have formula p/h

we have p but we have to find out h simple

so draw a right angle triangle
where h is hypotenuse , p is perpendicular having value  8
and b as base  value as 15
now h = root over 8x15

answer will come as 17 simple.so easy.

Hey mate..

Given , 15 tan A = 8

So , tan A = 8 / 15

By seeing the figure we have,

tan A = BC / AB = 8 / 15

Let,

BC / AB = 8 / 15 = K ( K is a constant )

Thus,

BC = 8 K and AB = 15 K

Now,

In right angled triangle ABC we have,

AC ^2 = AB ^2 + BC ^2

= ( 15K ) ^2 + ( 8K ) ^2

= 225K ^2 + 64K^2

= 289K ^ 2

Thus,

AC = 17K

Now,

It is known to us that,

sin A =  \frac{perpendicular}{hypotenuse}

= BC / AC

= 8K / 17K

= 8 / 17

Therefore,

The value of sin A = 8 / 17
