Ans is 23.first 15cos a =8 sin a

That means tan a=. 15/8

We know 15,8,17 is a Pythagorean triplet.

Hence hypoten=17.just put value and u will get 23.

Also if you don't know the triplet just divide numerator and denominator by cos a and your fraction will be in terms of tan a.then simply put value of tan a
