Answer:

15 cot theta = 8

cot theta = 8/15

Now, ( 1- sin theta)(1+ sin theta)/(1+cos theta)( 1-cos theta)

Apply formula ,

( a+ b)( a- b)= a^2 - b^2

So, ( 1- sin^2 theta)/( 1 - cos^2 theta)

Always remember

sin^2 + cos^2 = 1

So, 1 - sin^2 theta = cos^2 theta and its interchanging sin and cos operator

So, cos^2 theta/sin^2 theta

= cot^2 theta

Now fetching above value of Cot theta

= (8/15)^2

= 64/225
