therefore ,

1kg of rice cost = 17 rupee and 50 pause .,

now ,,

cost of 40 kg rice = 17.5 × 40 = 700 rupees .

Cost of 40 kg rice = 16×2 1/2
= 560 rs
1/2 = 8 kg then
560 + half of 280
= 700
Price of 40 kg of rice will be ₹700
