here are some differences between plant and animal cells:
- plant cell is larger in size
- animal cells are comparatively smaller in size
- plastids are present in plant cells
- plastids are absent in animal cells
- a plant cell has a large central vacuole
- animal cells have temporary small sized vacuoles
- nucleus is on one side of the cytoplasm in plant cells
- nucleus is usually present in the centre of the cytoplasm
- cell wall and plama membrane is present in plant cells
- cell wall is absent in animal cells but a thin plasma membrane is present
