This can be solved by the unitary method.
16:24::1:x
16x=24
16x/24
2x/3
x=3/2
x=1.5m of cloth

class8fffffffffffff: Can you please explain in detail. please please
sinhasarveshk: Listen.
sinhasarveshk: There are a total of 16 shirts cut out of 24 m cloth.
sinhasarveshk: You asked 1 shirt requires how many cloths.
sinhasarveshk: Therefore.
sinhasarveshk: !6 shirts is proportional to 24 m cloth which are in proportion to 1 shirt which is proportional to x m cloth.
sinhasarveshk: In proportional method.
sinhasarveshk: We multiply the extremes and means.
sinhasarveshk: Which is 16 is multiplied to x and 24 is multiplied to 1
sinhasarveshk: Then simply do it by the above way.
