Answer:

Consider the first 3 numbers that is 18,a,b

=> The condition for AP : 2b = a + c

=> From the equation : 2a = 18 + b

=> b = 2a - 18 ----------- 1

Then consider next 3 numbers that is a,b, -3

=> 2b = a + (-3) ------------ 2

Substitute 1 in 2nd equation

=> 2(2a - 18) = a - 3

=> 4a - 36 = a - 3

=> 3a = 33

=> a = 11

Then substitute the value of a either in 1 or 2 to get b. You must get b as 4 and the common difference is 7
