because if you will count than 18 days will come between both of them and 7 + 7 days will be again Sunday and Sunday and after four days there will be 5th September which is on Thursday .

July and August contains 31 days each.

And 5 days extra towards September 5 from August 31.

Add all these.

13 + 30 + 31 + 31 + 5 = 110.

Divide this 110 by 7 and identify the remainder.

The remainder is 5.

The 5th day after Sunday is Friday.

So Friday is the answer.
