if 19600 j of energy were used to raise a boy of 40 kg above the ground ,how high he would be raised ? (g =9.8 m/sec sq.) please help me out.

Since Pe = mgh

=) 40* 9.8 * h = 19600

=) h = 19600/9.8*40

=) h = 196000/98*40

=) h = 2000/40 m

=) h = 50m.

Energy used= 19600J mass=40kg and g=9.8. Let boy attains height 'H' then energy E = m×g×H..... 19600= 40×9.8×H so H=19600/392=50m
