if 19x-17y=55 then 17x-19y=53 find x&y

36x - 36y = 108
x-y=3.....(1)
now,
(19x - 17y) - (17x-19y) =55 - 53
2x + 2y =2
x+y=1....(2)
from (1)+(2)=>2x=4
=>x=2
therefore y =-1 ....(from 1)
