Half life is described as the time taken for the decay of  half of the radioactive substance. For a particular radioactive isotope half life remains constant irrespective of its initial mass. So the half life of an element is used to identify the element to find out the amount of the substance decayed or amount of the substance remaining after the radioactive decay. Given that the half life an  isotope is 7 days so the half life of that isotope would remain same even if the amount is 2 g or 1 g.

Therefore the correct answer for the given question is 7 days
