Given:

√2 = 1.4 and √3 = 1.7 Find the value and correct it to one decimal place.

To Find:

2-√3/√3

Solution :

 =  >  \dfrac{2 -  \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{3} }

 =  >  \dfrac{2 -  \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{3} }  \times  \dfrac{ \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{3} }

By doing cross-multiplication, we'll get:

 =   >    \dfrac{2 \sqrt{3} - 3 }{3}

Substitute the value of √3 = 1.7

 =  >  \dfrac{(2 \times 1.7) - 3}{3}

 =  >  \dfrac{3.4 - 3}{3}

 =  >  \dfrac{0.4}{3}  = 0.1

Hence,   \dfrac{2 -  \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{3} } = 0.1
