TO FIND

the value of  \sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3}\\

GIVEN

\sqrt{2}=1.414

SOLUTION

(\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3})  ^{2}  = 6+3-2\sqrt{6}\sqrt{3}

(\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3})  ^{2}  = 9-2\sqrt{18}\\

(\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3})  ^{2}  = 9-6\sqrt{2}

(\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3})  ^{2}  = 9-6*1.414

(\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3})  ^{2}  = 9-8.484

(\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3})  ^{2}  = 0.516

\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3}\\     = \sqrt{0.516}

\sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3}\\     = 0.718

ANSWER

the value of \sqrt{6}-\sqrt{3}\\ = 0.718
