If 2 3/5m and 3 3/10m are cut off from a rope 11m long.what is the length of the remaining rope?

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that there are 100 cm in one metre

now 3/5 means

3/5×100 = 60 cm

also we know that 2 piece of 3/5 m are cut

so 60×2= 120 cm

now 3 piece of length 3/10

means 3(3/10)×100

90 cm

so 120+90= 210cm

also we know that we have a 1100 cm long rope (11×100)

now remaining rope is

1100-210= 890cm

it means 8.9 m
